Last Updated: March 21, 2026This Privacy Policy describes how Blackjack Trainer ("we", "our", or "the App") handles your information.OverviewBlackjack Trainer is a blackjack strategy training app. All your data — progress, statistics, preferences — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal information.What the App DoesThe App lets you:
- Complete structured lessons on blackjack strategy
- Practice decisions with real-time feedback
- Play simulated blackjack hands
- View strategy charts and a glossary
- Track your session history, accuracy, and performance statistics
- Purchase a premium subscription for full access to all contentInformation Stored on Your DeviceThe following data is created and stored locally on your device only:
- Practice session history (hands played, accuracy, duration)
- Decision history and mistakes (used to give you targeted feedback)
- Lesson progress and completion status
- Your preferences (sound, haptics, notifications, analytics opt-in)
- Premium subscription statusThis data never leaves your device unless you use your operating system's built-in backup (iCloud on iOS, Google Drive Auto Backup on Android), which is managed by Apple or Google respectively.AnalyticsIf you have the Analytics toggle enabled in Settings, the App logs anonymized usage events (such as screen views and session activity) to help us understand how features are used. You can disable this at any time in Settings. When disabled, no usage events are collected.NotificationsIf you enable Practice Reminders in Settings, the App may send you a local notification if you haven't practiced in a few days. Notifications are scheduled entirely on-device and do not involve any external service. You can disable them at any time.In-App PurchasesThe App offers premium subscriptions (monthly, annual, and lifetime) processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment or billing information. All transactions are handled by Apple or Google under their respective privacy policies.Third-Party ServicesThe App does not use third-party advertising, tracking, or social media SDKs. The only third-party involvement is:
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store for processing in-app purchasesChildren's PrivacyThe App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.Your ControlsFrom the Settings screen you can:
- Toggle analytics on or off
- Toggle practice reminder notifications on or off
- Toggle sound effects and haptic feedback
- Manage your subscription through the App Store or Google PlayData DeletionSince all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the App removes all associated data. If you are in a development build, you can also use the "Reset App Data" option in Settings.Changes to This PolicyWe may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
